In the present work we propose to clear the sense of education starting withthe general mark of Nietzsche’s thouht as well as exposing the essentialrelation between philosophy and education in the autor. To begin with wewill board the conception of education in Plato as a starting point for thecomprehension in Nietzsche. Fron here we will point out the sense and reachof the relation between education and philosophy in both philosophers. Inspite of the great existing difficulty in order to clarify the unique concept ofphilosophy in Nietzsche, we intend to base the idea of education from thecriticism of the cultura that carries out; developing the concept as well as thesense of education in relation to his conception of the being of man andpointing out the possibility of his historical fulfillment. For that reason weboard the topic of education in relation to the following aspects of Nietzsche’sphilosophizing: nihilism, transmutation of the values, will power, need andestablishment of a new valuation, the being of man and the “last man”. As away of conclusion we try to present fron the essential relation between educationand philosophy, relation founded in the conception of the philosophyas a preparation of the “superman”, the investment of the essence of theeducation thougth by Nietzsche.
