This work is structured in two parts. Firstly, the objective is to offer a synthesis of the theory of moral development by Kohlberg and its application tothe educative scope. The second part is a critical revision of certain aspects of the moral theory with an educative projection. To conclude, it defends the relevance and utility of some expositions of Kohlberg, especially the experience of participating democracy within the educative institution (just communities).This will be based on the description of some changes that have occurred in society, more specifically, in the way education takes place within modern society.
