Abstract

Feminists have recognized the importance of defending women’s ability to think and to think about themselves; It is necessary to go further: we only managed to restore respect for the long-lasting dominated produced by the patriarchal machismo in which we still live, by establishing that her power to judge lies in the use of the dialogue that she shares with men, in addition to her difference in gender. We can only dispel all the alleged doubts raised by rapists and intellectuals who have remained chauvinistic regarding their feminine faculty of judging by showing its origin in a common second nature of language as well as its efficacy. We will support our analysis with a case that made headlines in the French television media.

Irma Julienne Angue Medoux, Universidad Omar Bongo, Libreville, Gabón.

Profesora e investigadora de Filosofía en la Universidad Omar Bongo, Libreville de Gabón, habilitada a dirigir la investigación, otorgada por la Universidad de París VIII; miembro de la red de las mujeres filosofas de la UNESCO. Publicó numerosos artículos y libros sobre la condición femenina, entre otros: Richard Rorty, un philosophe conséquent (2009), L’Afrique postmoderne (2011), Plaidoyer pour l’égalité des femmes.
