In my opinion, one of the great problems of the Colombian academy is that there is a deep ignorance about what our colleagues are doing in other universities. We do not know his work and, in the worst case, we do not take it as a point of reference because, a priori, we do not consider it good. On a few occasions, the bibliography that accompanies the syllabus of the courses we teach does not contain articles or books of Colombian philosophers that, regardless of their quality, we should include. We should not only include them to know what our colleagues are producing, but also because they criticize them, show their weaknesses and strengths, is what the academy must do and what generates a vigorous and robust knowledge ...
