This article presents some results obtained through the use of IT tools (Provalis Research), also known as CAQDAS (Computer Assisted Qualitative Data Analysis Software) for analyzing Peirce’s writings, stablishing the statistical bases for a timeline of his last intellectual period and for justifying a possible periodization of pragmaticism, furthermore for describing certain discoveries made in our archival work on Peirce’s original documents and manuscripts. This work is a piece of our research at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM) and the Houghton Library at Harvard University.
