Abstract
It is said the Elightenment is an underlined way of independence forThought and Existence. This sort of social, political, and scientifical revolutionprepares for the main revolution in 1789, but we have to paystrongly attention to the ideological path the epystemological thought iscarrying on, preceding the political one. Three metaphors set up in thischange: from axioms to data, from vision to touch and from mechanicismto organism.
