On the concept of forgiveness in Hannah Arendt´s thinking

Even though HannahArendt do not develops neither explicitly norexhaustively the concept of forgiveness, its relevancy in her thoughtcan be glimpsed considering her statement, in her article aboutBertolt Brecht (1948), to the effect that: judgment and forgivenessare the two faces of the same coin. Despite its early formulation,this statement gives account of the importance that the conceptof forgiveness would take in her political reflections. Thepretension of this paper is to reconstruct this concept and to showits relevancy within her work, taking as a basis the commentariesand notes along her texts.
