Against platonic dualism, art shows that virtuality and reality are not faced. The work of art is virtuality, but it is not ontologically separated from the reality that represents. The aesthetic virtuality according to Gadamer supposes a growth ot the being of the reality, in fact towards its own truth. The work of art therefore doesn’t represent the being of the reality but what it can be.
