Interview with Michel Paty

Abstract

Professor Paty is director emeritus of research at the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) at Paris 7-Denis Diderot University in Paris, France. At the time of the interview, he was also a visiting professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Professor Paty visited the University of Valle on the occasion of the International Symposium “Einstein: Scientist, Philosopher, and Humanist. Centenary of a Worldview,” held in December 2005. During his visit, he granted this interview to Professor Germán Guerrero Pino, professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Valle and general coordinator of the aforementioned symposium.
