The aim of this work is to show the limitations of the phenomenology of intersubjectivity in Edmund Husserl's thinking, in his attempt to establish ethics. It is precisely in this context that we suggest taking into account Emmanuel Levinas' understanding of phenomenology, which proposes “Ethics as First Philosophy” as an alternative to Husserl's project.
