What we consider to be “our art” is not only accomplished by artists alone, but also by theorists in the broadest sense, whose role is attested to in the countless creative circumstances that brought together artists, art historians, and critics. The range of issues explored here refreshingly awakens all of our aesthetic perplexities. These perplexities are encountered by both the casual contemporary art lover and the seasoned aesthetician.
