The presence and inevitability of facts are one of the major characteristics of the Aristotelian world, and it is in this context that, more than a formula, τò τί ἦν εἶναι expresses in words the essential evidence of being (Form-Potency-Act), without forgetting its belonging to the púas current within the ontological and theological project that claims to surpass pure sensory fact and accidental contingencies. An imperative necessity manifests itself, imprinting on things a force tinged with harmony in their inexorable march toward their finality.
