The New Atlantis and the Social Dominance of Nature in Francis Bacon

In the following pages we explain that the New Atlantis of Bacon presents the social program of modern science and is not a work of a purely literary or fictional nature. We believe that this work by Bacon is a knowledge-mastery program of nature that shows the social and practical direction of science in the new routes of knowledge.
